JEBEL SIFAH INVITES FAMILIES TO ITS FIRST FUN-FILLED FOOTGOLF COMPETITION
Muscat, November 8th 2017 - Jebel Sifah is inviting all members of the Muscat community to a thrilling FootGolf competition from 1:00pm-6:00pm on November 10th 2017. The event, hosted in partnership with Omantel, will welcome all comers to a fun and festive environment with plenty of prizes up for grabs to players of the new sport. Live music and all-day activities will keep spectators entertained with a chance to team up with a number of Oman's leading social media influencers as they compete on the greens of Jebel Sifah's newly launched 9-hole Harradine golf course.
A combination of football and golf, FootGolf is regarded as the world's fastest growing sport. The highly inclusive and family-friendly activity is played on a 9-Hole golf course using a football and much like golf, includes a score card with each hole having its own point system. Players are required to get a football into a hole from teeing areas in the lowest number of kicks possible.
